The Day Before Physics Paper.
Its really a different feeling altogether 2 years ago when i took O’Levels.
It too is a different feeling on the day i took my physics paper for midyears half a year ago.
Knowing that i am extremely weak in my sciences, (though i had no choice in this new JC Curriculum), i took up physics as a H1 subject with no other options left in me, when chemistry was totally out of the point.
For the past one year or so, i couldn’t be more than bothered about physics, its just a H1 subject that seems minor to me, or to my fellow classmates who took physics. Somehow as time draw nears towards A Levels, we realised that the H1 bears some kind of significance in the Entrance to University. I’m glad that there were enough time for all of us to catch up the 11 topics of physics in a mere 2-3 months.
Throughout this few months, i could proudly say that the subject i have worked really hard on was Physics. Yes, its just a H1 Paper, but one can never imagine how terrible my grades for physics were. The effort that has to be put into place to improve it had to be much much greater than the other subjects. It was almost like learning from scratch, because of the inattentiveness during lectures and the laziness during tutorials.
I guess its stress and tension that makes people work and want to work.
With physics paper tomorrow, the fear for it is finally subdued by the preparation and hard work put into it. We have put in the effort, and we MUST do well. ( I hope Mr Sim is looking at this)
Right here, i want to thank my tuition teacher for putting in the effort to teach me, a know-it-none kid about physics. I know its hard, considering my exceptionally poor foundations for it, and that its less than 8 sessions of tuition. I’ve learnt much from you, not only physics but also other stuffs that we share. Thank You ( I know you are reading this =] )
Some advices before the physics paper
- Remember your entry proof (applies to all papers)
- Sleep early (even if its afternoon paper; applies to all papers)
- All other necessities that are required for the exams, pen, pencil calculator…(applies to all papers)
- DO ONLY 2 QNS FOR SECTION B (we have been practising the whole paper forgetting about the instructions that we only need to complete 2 out of 3)
- Look into the mirror and give yourself a thumbs up with your right hand (The Right Hand Grip Rule)
- Massage your thumb, index finger and middle finger on your left hand ( Fleming’s Left Hand rule)
- Use the Buddha Palm, only if you know (Mr Guang’s Rule)
Yes, we are on our way to defeat the paper and defeat ourselves.
For our parents, teachers, people around us and most importantly OURSELVES!
All the best to all..
Goodnight, and have a good rest.
