Daily Dosage of 311007 | 21km is here.

October 31, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, just passing-by 2 Comments →

Whoo.. Daryl is happy today.

I can’t believed that i managed to complete 21km in Bishan Park today. The timing was 2hrs 15mins. Fatigue starts to set in after the 17th KM, i felt like i was crawling my way through the last 4km.

It seems like all the sore, pain and fatigue disappear instantaneously when i reached the finishing point.

I managed to complete 6pull ups, even after the 21 km run. The feeling is just too great.

Some tips to consider to survive a long run (only if you consider 20km to be long enough for you)

  • Eat at least 5hours before the run

This is for your body to fully absorb what you have eaten to give you the energy to last. Also, one won’t be able to run well on a full and heavy stomache.

  • Eat Light

This is just my personal opinion, because i cannot stand the strong feeling of the food still lingering around my tastebuds. More fruits and vegetables would be adviceable because they are easier to digest. Meat might give you the protein, but you would have to consumer them earlier to make sure it no longer stays in your body.

  • Drink just enough water

Due to the fact that we perspire a lot and lose water during the run. It is inevitable that we replenish the water content in our body. But always make sure that we just take enough water to replenish those that were loss. Drinking too much will result in a heavy stomache and it might lead to stitch. Also, try to drink the water slowly instead of gulping it all down at once.

  • Consistency

Try to run on a consistent pace, never try to beat time as it will only result in more fatigue coming your way before reaching your destination. Just let your body be full control of the speed. When it’s tired, it will slowly down automatically, when its feeling good, the body would push you to pace up.

  • Determination

This is the last and one of the most important factor. Set your target, and run towards your target. If something crops up in the middle of the run, don’t push yourself. It will only lead to more injury making you less abled to run the next time round. If its only tiredness, then try to make yourself think, think of anything under the sun, then you probably forget about the sore and tiredness.

-

I’m double, triple checking my entry proof, confirming that there are no papers tomorrow. Yes, it reads Mathematics Paper 1 02/11/07, which is Friday. Great, i shall have one more day to sharpen my sword.

Till then,

mug hard.

The Day Before Physics Paper.

October 29, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage 2 Comments →

Its really a different feeling altogether 2 years ago when i took O’Levels.

It too is a different feeling on the day i took my physics paper for midyears half a year ago.

Knowing that i am extremely weak in my sciences, (though i had no choice in this new JC Curriculum), i took up physics as a H1 subject with no other options left in me, when chemistry was totally out of the point.

For the past one year or so, i couldn’t be more than bothered about physics, its just a H1 subject that seems minor to me, or to my fellow classmates who took physics. Somehow as time draw nears towards A Levels, we realised that the H1 bears some kind of significance in the Entrance to University. I’m glad that there were enough time for all of us to catch up the 11 topics of physics in a mere 2-3 months.

Throughout this few months, i could proudly say that the subject i have worked really hard on was Physics. Yes, its just a H1 Paper, but one can never imagine how terrible my grades for physics were. The effort that has to be put into place to improve it had to be much much greater than the other subjects. It was almost like learning from scratch, because of the inattentiveness during lectures and the laziness during tutorials.

I guess its stress and tension that makes people work and want to work.

With physics paper tomorrow, the fear for it is finally subdued by the preparation and  hard work put into it. We have put in the effort, and we MUST do well. ( I hope Mr Sim is looking at this)

Right here, i want to thank my tuition teacher for putting in the effort to teach me, a know-it-none kid about physics. I know its hard, considering my exceptionally poor foundations for it, and that its less than 8 sessions of tuition. I’ve learnt much from you, not only physics but also other stuffs that we share. Thank You ( I know you are reading this =] )

Some advices before the physics paper

  • Remember your entry  proof (applies to all papers)
  • Sleep early (even if its afternoon paper; applies to all papers)
  • All other necessities that are required for the exams, pen, pencil calculator…(applies to all papers)
  • DO ONLY 2 QNS FOR SECTION B (we have been practising the whole paper forgetting about the instructions that we only need to complete 2 out of 3)
  • Look into the mirror and give yourself a thumbs up with your right hand (The Right Hand Grip Rule)
  • Massage your thumb, index finger and middle finger on your left hand ( Fleming’s Left Hand rule)
  • Use the Buddha Palm, only if you know (Mr Guang’s Rule)

Yes, we are on our way to defeat the paper and defeat ourselves.

For our parents, teachers, people around us and most importantly OURSELVES!

All the best to all..

Goodnight, and have a good rest.

Efficiency getting in the way.

October 29, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, writings 2 Comments →

Is Singapore way of efficiency getting into our way of life. I certainly think so.

Right now, I’m still feeling sore about the incident that happened this morning, where the issue of efficiency comes into the picture.

I was at the coffee shop savoring my bowl of fishball noodles, when nature called on me. Due to the fact that i was alone, i placed the chopsticks and spoon in a neat way on the bowl, indicating that i’m not done with it, as there’s still like 1/3 of it left in the bowl.

BUT.. When i came back, my bowl of noodles was gone.. Yes, GONE! I’m sure i took less than 2 minutes, its was definitely done in a jiffy. But its gone. At the very instant, i was feeling so @#$%^&*( about it. I had to spend another 80cents on a piece of pancake of fill my full.

Is it really that big a necessary to clear the plates and dishes the moment i leave my seat, or is it that there is also some kind of competitiveness in clearing plates in the coffee shop, where each one of them have a certain quota to meet at the end of the day, like 100 plates, in order to maintain their rice bowl.

There’s competition almost everywhere and at any instances on this small island call Singapore. Where here i am, competing with 10 over thousands of Junior College Students for the entrant to a University, probably the guy that’s beside me now is competing with another 62billion people out there for a job.

The way our society has brought us up to till today has made is such that competitiveness is inevitable and it has been integrated in our daily life. Just take the library for example. All libraries in Singapore opens at 10am. I decided to try my luck for a nice studying place there, and knowing the exam period, there’s bound to be a high influx of muggers making their way there right before the opening hour to secure a place there.

But, to my dismay there was a whole lot of people when i arrived there. Its really illustrates the rat race in the society really well. The moment the doors opened, it seemed like it was the treasure cave in the Ali BaBa story, everyone stormed in grabbing any (treasure), in this case, seats, that they are able to get hold of.

Any step slower than the rest and there goes your chance of studying in the library. Fortunately, i managed to get a seat, by being a typical Singaporean, dashing up the stairs when the door opened.

Thats the reason why I’m here at Starbucks coffee, my favorite hunt once again. I don’t even have to make my orders, the coffee maker just smiles at me and asked me if it was the usual, and headed on with the coffee in my tumbler.

Great ain’t it?

NEWS: Singapore Retain its gay sex ban.

October 25, 2007 By: darylim Category: News comments, thoughts, writings 8 Comments →

I happened to see this piece of news feed on my desktop. It was such a influential issue that the news made its way to the international dashboard of the BBC News.

Singapore’s parliament has voted against a proposal to decriminalise sex between men, despite receiving a petition signed by thousands of people.

The plan was part of a wider reform of sex laws, many dating from the British colonial era half a century ago.

The chamber passed a bill legalising oral and anal sex for the first time, but only between heterosexuals.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said the government did not consider gays to be a minority with minority rights.

In a rare speech to parliament, he said Singapore was a conservative society, and he wanted to keep it so.

Tuesday’s vote means Singapore’s anti-gay law 377A remains, although prosecutions are rare.

Under the legislation, a man caught committing an act of “gross indecency” with another man could be jailed for up to two years.

BBC, Tuesday, 23 October 2007, 23:45 GMT 00:45 UK

As commented that there has been petition signed by thousands of people to relax the gay laws that is enforced in Singapore, does it imply that there is a increasing increase in the number of gay communities we have in Singapore, or is it just that Singaporeans are getting more open with such relations that they do not mind having such people in our communities.

One of my teachers did mentioned before, if we take a look around the world, like for example places like Paris and Vienna, where the culture of Arts flourishes. In would be almost inevitable to find great musicians or artistes that are indeed homosexual. Many would arguably say that it is because of their homosexuality that leads them to producing such great pieces of work.

Such incidences can also be seen in the local communities, just that the magnitude is much lesser, that people who have higher order of creativity, or artistic sense tends to be more “exquisite” in the way they carry themselves.

Also, not forgetting our famous Singer Elton John and actor Leslie Cheung.

So, in Singapore’s attempt to promote and develop Singapore into a arts hub, would such a bill that’s passed hinder its process..

To a certain extent yes, but the fact still remains that the Asian Values that is running within the majority of us does not see homosexuality as an an act of decency. Moreover, the thousands that have signed the petition would probably be the minority that well could accept them.

Probably in another 10 or 20 years, where more Americanization sets place in our society, it will then be more appropriate as people becomes more liberal with homosexuality.

Just imagining yourself, a heterosexual, living in a society full of homosexual or even bisexual. How would you feel?

In my personal take, i think such acts are rather unpleasing. I was at Starbucks when i saw 2 ladies, one dressed like a butch, but still unable to conceal the fact that “he” is female, with another lady. They were smooching each other with high acts of intimacy. Certainly not something that’s well-liked by the public i guess. They could at least made it a closed-door affair or share their love for each other in private. Not somewhere where they will be seen and scrutinized by people.

God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. So lets just stick with it and not mess up the wonderful love and relations a man and woman can achieve.

Cheers!

For heterosexuality

Daily Dosage of 231007 | Studying @ Starbucks; daddy’s BACK.

October 23, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage 2 Comments →

I’m currently at MacDonalds, tapping on their facilities to do some blogging. It’s rather cool that the whole Singapore is getting wired up, it makes things so convenient anywhere, everywhere.

Taking a break from the long haul of physics revision, allow me to once again bore you with my daily updates.

How interesting could a day begin and end during the exam period. Time spent could be nothing more than studying and more studying.

Starbucks@Novena proved to be quite a good place for mug hards, with the rather quiet atmosphere, and the aroma of the coffee, giving some perks to the monotonous studying.

They had decent tables and chairs, with power plug for my notebook. Couldn’t ask for anything more than that.

I was bored after awhile. Spot the difference

Yes, my drink from a piping hot one turned icy cold at the end. This shows that I’ve been sipping real slow, because that’s my passport for the day.

The coffee had managed to keep me awake, till now.

-

On another note, i realised that these burn outs are making me unhealthy. My body symptoms shows it all. My sensitive scalp has started to peel once again, this only happens when i lead some irregular lifestyles. Like staying up late, and inconsistent food intake.

This studying period has decreased my workout time greatly. Its been a long time since i put on my running shoes. For that, it will take some time before i hit back my prime again after A’s.

After A’s, after A’s.. My mind’s all revolving around the events that’s going to happen after it. Though i know it’s not the best time to think about it now. Sometimes, its good to let the mind run wild before capturing it back to concentration, unless you want to see a psychotic Daryl being drowned in notes and more notes.

Studying can really make someone grow fat. Its just eating and sitting and eating and sitt… Those brain and arm movements aren’t going to burn that much of calories from your body. One way i’ve tried was to eat little but take small bites, SMALL bites in between break time. Eating too full will result one to become more lethargic, having no mood to continue studying and meet the zee monster. Coffee is too a good companion, especially if you are caffeine addictive.

-

My dad’s like finally back from India once again. 3 months flown by just in a tick. Well, i can’t be sure if his presence will add to more pressure to me, having to do well for A’s, but one thing for sure would be that the house would be more lively with one more person. Got to treasure the time left with the family before entering NS, though i know it’s pathetically little. With me always out, my sister having her O Levels now and my brother and mum busy with their own stuffs, its quite difficult to get everyone together.

The atmosphere of a whole family gathering together is something that is not attainable with other group of people, no matter how close you are with them. That’s the power of kinship, the blood and bonds that run in us.

On a happier note, my dad brought back more merchandise from Adidas, Nike..

I guess that’s about all for today, back to more burnouts with the books and notes.

Till then,

all the best for the O’Level kids meanwhile, before it’s our turn to shine!

-

My body’s biological clock is getting more and more dysfunctional, been studying late, burning the night away. That explains why i am here blogging at 3AM in the morning.

Its not that the morning is not a good time for studying, its just that the temptations and the distraction level is just too great. Take for example today, nope, yesterday morning.

I was doing my maths, then i noticed that the decibels under my block slowly increasing.. For those who saw my MSN Personal Message, that was what i meant by the negative externality under my block.

There were grass cutters cutting grass. Its not just one of them, there were at least 2 or more of them. Its not that they are doing harm to the society, in fact they are beautifying our neighborhoods, but i can’t just ignore the fact that its really noisy and irritating, especially when one is concentrating, doing maths.

Being so disturbed by them, i just went to my window right beside me and look down at them. I couldn’t resist it but took a few shots of them. Somehow they look like they are surveilling the neighborhood, with that thing on their hands as ammunition. On a different view/angle, somehow they resemble terrorists as well.

Pardon the pixelated pictures, i took them with my N73 zoomed all the way from the 6th storey I’m living in.

Alright, i shan’t be so bad to ill speak them in such a way. In anyway, we should be grateful that they are doing something to contribute to the community, for the good of the people.

Alright, those interested in the DND tickets, leave a comment.

Till then,

Zee-ing

Healthy Fruit and Nut Snack

October 18, 2007 By: darylim Category: advertisments 6 Comments →

Introducing the tasty and healthy snack, mixed and bought by my mother.

The mixture includes..

  • Melon Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Macadenia Nuts
  • Raisins
  • Cranberry
  • Blueberry

Its not the typical snacks that people would drool about, the healthiness that is embed within the great taste itself is marvelous. All the above fruits and nuts are unprocessed, hence making the snack a pure natural one.

Simple as it seems, its certainly not a cheap snack.

Quoting from my mum.. 250grams of blueberry costs about 20bucks, adding on with Macadenia Nuts, which is something not cheap either. Cranberry and all the other stuffs. One bottle of such mixture could well add up to 30 dollars.

Well, if you can afford, looking something healthy to chew on while on the mugging sprint, do consider this.

The taste of sweetness and the crunch from the nuts and seeds would definitely spice you up. Also, not forgetting that these nuts and fruits have some medical value in them as well.

Whatever it is, good things come in moderation. Control as it is.

Happy Snacking Healthily =)

Clothes.. and MORE Clothes.

October 18, 2007 By: darylim Category: photoblog, writings 6 Comments →

Spending the last few hours of the day before going to sleep packing clothes is surely one of the most arduous task to complete. Was bugged by my mum to get some of the old clothes that i haven’t been wearing out of the cupboard to give it away to some less fortunate and people from the more backward countries.

I knew it was going to be difficult, considering that i do have A LOT of clothes. As i begin packing, there were many of them which i had never actually seen or wore before. To make a decision, whether to keep or to give away, these are some of the criteria that i take into considerations.

1) The clothing quality

In my take, the top priority on the list would be comfort. I hate clothes that makes me feel uncomfortable wearing it, i think it defies the whole purpose of wearing them. Why bother so put on something that will make you feel uneasy.

Also, clothes that are too old have to be taken off the shelve. Remembering that there will be newer ones to replace them.

2) Branding

Well, if you think I’m not the materialistic kind of person, then think twice. Somehow, the brand of clothes that you wear tells another story about yourself when one walks on the street. People do notice about the type of shirts you are wearing and judge you just by it. Though the saying goes.. “Never judge a book by its cover”, somehow its just not applicable here.

Most of the time, good brands come with good quality material and design. So, its a hit for three. Why not?

3) Design

You’ve got to admit that some shops do sell clothing that has pretty good and interesting, though they are not very branded or popular. Its just another personal feel, when the designs look good, why care so much about the brand. Though the quality and material of it still stands.

4) Sentimental

Some clothes you just have to keep them, not because its nice or whatsoever. Its just the priceless value behind the piece of rag that is deemed treasure in the eye of the beholder. Some of them would include the old class t-shirts, or band t-shirts. Its definitely something that you can’t just pick it up from the stores, even with the purchasing power to do so.

So, my criteria seems to be rather strict aren’t they? But somehow.. Whats left is still massive.

The Reason: I do have really loads of them.

My sources of clothings are huge. I have relatives and friends that contribute to them, my dad who never fails to get Adidas’s merchandise from India everytime he visits there (he’s coming back soon), also some by me myself and my mum.

Sometimes, i do wish that i can have multiple bodies, so that i can ever finish wearing all of them. I think at this rate, i can afford to wear one every single day, without replacing them for at least 2 months.

The problem lies when there are some which are considered to be favourites and is more frequently worn than the others, resulting the others to be neglected and forgotten.

My wardrobe has exploded. I would invest in a walk-in wardrobe next time, if i ever own a house of my own. Something which will look like this..

More picture..

The stacks and bags of clothing that is going to leave Daryl soon. May you find a better owner, or find a better purpose in life. Maybe as a rag or something, rather that lying in my shelves collecting dust.

The leftovers, though its still a lot.

The “New” MSN Messenger.

October 16, 2007 By: darylim Category: writings 1 Comment →

Recently, actually not recently, quite long ago, MSN launched their new messenger, called the Windows Live Messenger. This launch is with conjunction of the new Operating System Microsoft has came out with the Windows Vista.

Few months back, they forced users(like me) that were using the old MSN Messenger to get the new update, if not they would not be able to sign-in. I had no choice but to abide by it, though i knew that the new program would have a high consumption of RAM, furthermore i had to open 2 messenger accounts due to the fact that i had 2 accounts. Blame it on them that they restricted the number of people that one could add to a number of 250 contacts last time, due to the exploding number, i had to open another account.

Overtime, i realised that the RAM consumption is really too high and my system is unable to afford it, thus making me switch to Trillian, a third-party MSN Messenger client where i can sign on multiple MSN Messenger on extremely low RAM usage. However, Trillian is not without its negative sides. It is less appealing visually compared to MSN Messenger and that there were many functions like sending of files, Web Conference, and writing options that were void from Trillian which were once a favorite for me.

Today, i managed to get away from things and a breakthrough from the restriction.

I got hold of this article where by there are MANY others out there which shared the same sentiments as me. The love for the Old Version of MSN Messenger. Now i shall share with you guys how to get hold of it, if any of you all want to do the same.

First, download the old version of MSN Messenger. Its available here .

Second, you got to uninstall all other newer MSN Messenger on your system.

Third, install the file which you have recently downloaded.

If you want to patch the Messenger, with stuffs like ads removed and polygamy. Use A-Patch.
You have to download the correct version. Which is the MSN 7.0.0820 version.

Then BINGO! You will have your “new” MSN Messenger. It will defintely make your system less lag if you are not high on memory. Especially for people like me who opens loads of application on the go, this will give your system a boost.

Enjoy the “new” look on your MSN.

Good nights.

The 5 Pillars of Life.

October 15, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, writings No Comments →

Share something that i have recently heard from a master somewhere, to take you away from the boring daily dosages that i have been writing.

The 5 pillars of life.

These 5 pillars of life are indicators to make someone a better person. It is definitely very general, however it covers a great aspects of life. It is important that one lead life through these pointers to make him/her a better person. It is almost impossible to follow and perfect all of the indicators. If you can, then you would be saint already and not be here reading, trying to be one.

The 5 pillars. Not in any order of importance and priority.

  1. Be a good son/daughter of your parents.
  2. Be a good student of your teachers.
  3. Be a good follower of your religion.
  4. Be a good citizen of your country.
  5. Be a good friend of your friends.

1) Parents are the people that bring us to life. Furthermore, their role does not just end there, they have taken the extra mile and bore the responsibility of nurturing us to useful people in life. Hence, in my own point of view filial piety should be the most important and it can come in many forms. It may not be just speech recognition or materialization of life. It might be the small nitty gritty things in life that actually shows the true heart and feelings.

2) Teachers are the bearer of knowledge, hence as important as knowledge is in life, the carrier of it should share the similar amount of significance. Though some teachers might be overbearing at times or not showing the correct attitude in teaching, but still we as students we got to acknowledge the fact that it is only through them that we are able to get wiser and more learned.

3) Religion is something which i believe can craft character out of a person. As long as the religion is orthodox and it does a greater good for the society. To strongly believe and be a good follower of the religion you are in, it will ensure that the path that one takes and actions one does it rightfully accounted for.

4) The country is like a nest for its people. By being a good citizen of your country, it is just the gratitude one can show for the country for accommodating us all these years. Being a good citizen can exists in many forms, which some include obeying the laws and being considerate to the people around us, and also not make oneself be a social hazard.

5) Friends are people around us that we can’t live without. They provide the support both physically and emotionally to one which others in the family cannot give. The companionship friends give in times of need, by lending a ear or shoulder is truly remarkable. You won’t really feel it until you desperately need it.

The above are just a rough guideline to follow to becoming a better person in life. I have to admit myself that i ain’t no saint myself, hence constant self reminders of these easy guidelines would be great in daily life, especially when making a difficult decision or in a dilemma.

If you have something which you think is too an important pointer in life. feel free to share by leaving your comments.

Thank You.

Daily Dosage of 1510107

October 15, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, photoblog 3 Comments →

Been out studying at MacDonalds today, with Jiahao, Chengsong and special appearance of  Amksian top Scholar Boon Yu Ru.

Just some photos to narrate things easily.

Something that you notice…?

There are no MacDonalds food on our table =) Why?.. Because we brought our own.

The more healthy Kettle’s Potato Chips that has no Trans Fats, with the slightly more unhealthy Lay’s Chip that is made with Sunflower Oil.

Dark Toblerone Chocolate, which is said to be more healthy that normal chocolate as it has more antioxidants in it and less sugar content with higher Cocoa mass.

Milo to keep us going..

And multi plugs, to give our mp3s and laptop the power to last FOREVER.

It’s not that we do not want to contribute to the economy by purchasing McDonald’s food, though it has proved to be quite a good place to study. It just that the food aren’t that pleasing. You can find out more from my McDoonald’s Post.

Alright.. These snacks above are not anywhere healthy. I’m merely deceiving myself.

Added new clothing to my already exploding wardrobe. Merchandise from Crocodile, since the discount that they are offering are huge. Yes, HUGE. More that 50% discount.

This one has a double layer with solid grey on the outside and green stripes on the inside.

This is the pink one my sis managed to convince me to buy. It was initially black with brown, decided to change the colour since I’m already dark enough and to add some interesting colours to the dull coloured wardrobe i already own.

The sales’s still on till Sunday, guys if you want to catch a good deal, its at the entrance of AMK Hub. Its so unresistable that CS bought 3 and JH bought 1 of them. Really a good bargain.

I’m currently desperate for someone to run with me, discpline for running have been really bad. Ran 6km plus today, mainly due to the overstretched thighs as i have been trying to doodle and play around with some taekwondo kicks.

Anyone?

Stay tuned for something different from Daily Dosage.. I know its boring, my life.

Till then,

Geog memorizing here i come!

Daily Dosage of 141007

October 14, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, happenings, photoblog 2 Comments →

I had forgotten about the farewell assembly that was held last Wednesday. The atmosphere of the whole event was alright. Not to the extremes of any sides. Though it was like kind of a GREAT emphasis to study and work our guts out for As’, but ain’t the the oblivion?

Picture that we took with Mr Kwek with courtesy of Dickson’s camera.

The introduction of my new gadget.

Yes, its a tablet PC, with a touch screen interface. Its the student model by HP. Got to use up my privilege of a student before time catches up with me in less than a month time.

I’m currently blogging with this new tool of mine. The feeling is of pure goodness.

Also, see the new header of my blog, its designed by Gordon. Many thanks to him despite his tight schedule at work, and too happy belated birthday to him!

The picture was a sketch using his arty farty tools, all i did was send him a photo which looks like this..

and he can miraculously change it to a wonderful header. Marvellous!

Thanks to the people who have been visiting this babe often, as you can see, there is starting to be ads of Nike showing under the Nuffnang advertising space. Does it means i will be receiving monies for blogging soon.I hope certaintly.

Please do visit soon, will squeeze time to blog in between studying times.

Till we meet again,

Kudos to all studying hard!

When we were still young.

October 10, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage, photoblog, writings 11 Comments →

When we were still young, we could play all day without worrying about work.

When we were still young, we could make mistakes and be expected to be forgiven.

When we were still young, we want to grow up quickly.

When we were still young, nothing seemed to trouble us.

When we were still young, day passed by slowly.

When we were still young, we stayed in class after school everyday.

When we were still young, we envied the grown ups.

When we have grown up, we missed our past.

Daily Dosage of 091007

October 09, 2007 By: darylim Category: daily dosage 1 Comment →

I’m IMPRESSED, no sarcasm at all, from the bottom of my heart.

Firstly, Congratulations to WaiSze for reaching your 8km. I guess it takes much determination and willpower on your own part to choose to push on your run, overcoming your limits.

Gratitudes for the wonderful things you mentioned about on your blog. Glad that it has left a positive mark in your life.

Secondly, i’m impressed with myself for the level of influence i can impact on people. Can’t be sure if its for the better or worse.

Somehow, influences are like clapping your hand. You certainly need both hands to clap. No point one party drowning the other with his raves while not receiving acceptance from the other.

No doubt that people have their own rights to choose the way they carry out their actions and live their life. But the fact remains if the choice we make, are they really the right ones. If difficult to make a correct judgment on a first person point of view, especially when we are often clouded by what is around us.

So, the best is to seek advice from people who armed with experiences to look at the situation and work on their advice.

So now the problem sets in..

Who do you trust?

Yours Truly,

Daryl
